signal from the edge

Network utilities,
settled in orbit.

Network, developer and privacy utilities that run in your browser, or one hop away on Cloudflare's edge. Nothing you type is sent anywhere unless you press a button that says so. Just bytes, and a little dust.

Why these tools are different

Most online utilities send whatever you type to a server and keep a log of it. These do the work in your browser: parsing, hashing, subnet math and decoding never leave the page.

A few tools need the network: a DNS query, a latency sample, a reverse lookup. Those requests start only when you press their button, go straight from your browser to the host named on the page, and the page says what is sent.

The site is a set of pre-rendered static files: there is no server-side application to exploit or to go down. Where the input is not sensitive, the result is encoded in the URL, so a link reproduces it. Visits are counted with cookieless analytics, described in the privacy policy.
